ATC catch-up...again

I've been to busy I did it again, did not post any of the ATC's I've been working on. I'm only showing you ones that I created. If I were to show all of the JAMS that I've done, this blog post would be a mile long.

I received 6 JAMS in one day! So far, that's a record.

On to my ATC's:
Theme: Renaissance
For October Swap at We're Stampin' Mad
Technique: I used a real rubber stamp and heat embossed it on velvet.

Theme: Use a ATC size stamp. I used 2 different ones.
For August Swap for my small group

Theme: State/County Fair
For September Swap at We're Stampin' Mad
Technique: I found a recipe online to make the scratch-off material so I stamped an image under the scratch-off that said either "yes" or "no" to the winner question. I will have a small prize for the ones who scratch of a winner.

Theme: Bird ATC+ Inchie #1

Here's mine:

When I was doing the stitching around the edge, it was a last minute idea to make it look like the bee did it. This is my favorite part of my card (besides the fluffy cupcake frosting). I wish I had a quilting machine so those stitches could have been more fluid... oh well.

I thought I'd make myself some cards...for once

I usually don't have time to make myself some cards. I am usually making cards for design teams or challenges. I recently bought this super fun stamp set (along with a couple others—that I'll play with later) from My Cute Stamps, and just had to play with it. It seams that I am into paper piecing lately (looking at the most recent cards I've done that seems to be the theme), so that is what I did for these cards.

SASSC #28 play along!

When you play along with us, please remember to post your sample to your blog or gallery, and then include a link in the Mr. Linky form at the bottom of the post (over on Stamps and Smiles) so we can all easily find each other. There is no time limit on our challenge, so please play along whenever you are able!! If you upload to SCS, please include “stampsandsmiles” in the keywords.

Here's mine for the Design Team—

I finally broke down and bought some Nestabilities, I found them for 40% off on a website. That is how I did the scalloped background. I used my Sizzix to cut them, since I don't have a Cuttlebug. It was a little difficult to get it to work in the Sizzix, but after a bit of trial and error I got it to work. I should have bought these earlier, I love them!

Did I ever show you this card?

I'm not sure I did. Here's the story with the glow-in-the-dark card. Over on ISC I am trying to sell sheets of glow-in-the-card sticker paper, and no one seems the least bit interested, no one has even looked at the listing. So I decided to make a sample of how you can use the sticker paper and put that image up with the listing. I know it helps me to picture how to use things if someone has given me some ideas... and you know what it did help.

If anyone is interested in a sheet they are $2.00 each (12"X10") plus $1.58 shipping. It is pretty thick (my Fiskars XL star punched worked just fine) and glossy, so you can only use StazOn ink when stamping.

Pile It On Challenge #10 No pattern paper and at least 1 other challenge

Jennifer-Random Vintage Finds

Challenges for Jennifer

The sponsor this week at PIO is Heather Ellis's DIGI STAMP CHARACTERS aren't they cute! Just look at the cat hiding those flowers behind his back, and she is looking at him with such sincerity and wonder.

These are actually 2 different DIGI images that I just placed next to each other before I printed it. And to challenge myself with the "no pattern paper" rule, I made my own by using a cuttlebug and I also stamped and embossed a flower on my yellow paper. I hope that was not cheating :o

SASSC #27 play along!

For my design team duties this week I created a "thinking of you" card. Isn't this bunny so very cute? He did not start off looking like this. Here's what the stamp looks like:

You can purchase it here.

You have to look at it in other ways. Just because that basket is next to him, does not mean you have to keep it on there. I chose to cut it off (after I stamped it), but you could make a mask and mask it off, or hide it under a flower or sticker of some sort. If you choose to look at all of you stamps this way, they will give you more options than you thought they would.

Now create a card, scrapbook page or anything with this layout and play along with us (at Stamps and Smiles), please remember to post your sample to your blog or gallery, and then include a link in the Mr. Linky form at the bottom of the post so we can all easily find each other. There is no time limit on our challenge, so please play along whenever you are able!! If you upload to SCS, please include “stampsandsmiles” in the keywords.

Sewing ATC

I entered this ATC into the Designers Challenge over on ISC. The challenge was to create a ATC with a sewing theme. Lucky I have a lot of sewing items in my stash. They will choose 1 winner from the submitted entries and that person will will ALL of the entries! I hope I win—I want to keep my ATC :-)

No, it's not an optical illusion!

That is a tomato! My first off of one of my heirloom plants. It is a Stripped German, 16" around and weights 1.57 pounds! Yes, that is a big tomato.

It is going to be really nummy tomorrow for lunch!

So far my garden harvest has been, a bushel of green beans, about a dozen sweet 100's, 4 green peppers, numerous raspberries (that don't even make it in the house), I showed you my radish harvest earlier this year, mixed lettuce (a lot of mixed lettuce), peas (not going to do next year) and a couple carrots.

Pile It On Challenge #8—use at least 3 flowers

Isn't this kitty just so cute? I colored him to look like my Diesel. And look, I used actual string for the kite. When you stamp an image you don't have to use it as-is. Make it your own. It's hard to tell, but I have another layer of his head, so it pops out.

This week's challenge is to use at least three flowers on your project (and of course, at least one other current challenge from anywhere else in blog-land!!). You can go as crazy as give us an entire garden if you want!

This week's awesome sponsor is Soft Pencil Designs! She has these super duper cute digital images, you can find them here on her blog or on her Etsy store. The winner for this week's challenge will get a $5.00 voucher for Soft Pencil's ETSY store! So please visit Pile It On Challenge and enter!

Here are the challenges that I accomplished:
