Happy Monday!

How was your weekend?
We went up to the lake and saw my Grandma, Aunt and Uncle.
I had not been up there since the 4th of July.

I am glad you are joining us today and The Cuttlebug Spot!

The theme for this week is FALL! I love Fall.
The leaves falling, sweater wearing temperatures and crispness in the air.

For this card I decided to use something that I just found at the thrift store, these fall color leaves that are on a wire garland. The leaves are pretty small, about the size of a dime. I left some on the gatland and others I took off of the garland and scattered around. I also used the new Memo Pins from Tim Holtz. They are really fun, pins that have a loop at the end to stick memos or any paper item in.

New Cuttlebug Folders!

I was in JoAnn's for the midnight sale. I had 4, 1/2 off coupons and at JoAnn if they are different coupons you can use as many as you want. I was so excited to see that they got in some of the new folders (and they WERE NOT ON SALE). There were not a lot of them left but I did happen to get the Once Upon A Princess set (coordinates with the Cricut cartridge) and a set from Sizzix for Basic Grey.

I love that butterfly one!

New Stamps!

These stamps are so awesome! They are by Toomuchfun Rubberstamps. It was a product that I had NEVER seen before! I was just amazed when I went to the stamp show a couple weekends ago.

How these work.....

They are two sided
so one side is the pocket
and the other side is the insert
So you fold up a piece of paper and stamp the pocket side onto the fold of the paper. And using a toothpick glue the sides with a thin line of glue.
Trim out the insert and place inside the pocket you just created.

Presto! a fun pocketed note card.
Here is another one I bought...

I did not have any real "baby" stamps so when I saw this I just had to have it. What a great note card for a shower or announcement. You can color it for a boy or a girl.

They had about 12 different designs all so very cute. And I thought the price was just right. Regular $18 each on sale for $12.00 each. Go check out the website for all of the other deigns they have. You will see shirts that open, boxes you can make and purses that fold, that you can decorate. So INGENIOUS!

The Cuttlebug Spot Monday!

I hope you had a wonderful weekend. It was beautiful here in Minnesota!
We got a lot of yard work done and I decorated the house for Halloween.

I am glad you are joining us today and The Cuttlebug Spot!

The theme for this week is Scary Halloween! I really don't do scary very well, so this is my interpretation of scary. Lucky Prickley Pear has a bulid-a-pumpkin that has two faces, one is nice and one is scary. You can see here that I used the scary face on the pumpkin.

"By the pricking of my thumbs something wicked this way comes"...

My first post for the Cuttlebug Spot!

I am so exited to be on the Cuttlebug Spot DT!

This week we are celebrating Woman's Power.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness month.
I actually just found out that an old co-worker of mine just passed away from Breast Cancer. She fought it and won once, and then it came back, just after her and I left that employer. This is the first person that I knew that has passed from breast cancer.

We all need to work hard together to find a cure for not only breast cancer but all cancer.

Everyone needs to hug their mom, sisters and grandmothers today.

So for my card, I had this wonderful "50's mom" rubberstamp from Prickley Pear.

It's hard to tell in the photo but her skirt is paper pieced.
