Just a little "Hello!"
Hope everyones Thanksgiving was delightful. We did not do much.
I did put up all of my Christmas decorations.
(I promise I will take photos to share).
Our kitties feeders were out of food.... So my husband filled them on the dinner table. The kitties were so excited! and decided it was worth the risk of getting scolded to eat out of the HUGE bowl of food. These are timed feeders. We can fill them full of food and set the timer and amount. We have them go off 2 times a day at 1/4 cup each time.

It's Cuttlebug Tuesday!
Cuttlebug Tuesday!
Today we are asking you to make a Thank You card for your Thanksgiving Day Hostess.
My sister -in-law is hosting her first Thanksgiving ever. It will be very interesting. But I know it will be just fine. I bet my mother-in-law will go and help her.
Here is my card....

I love the clear embossing technique of going over it with distress ink after it has been embossed. I think it is really elegant.Recipe:

Ribbon—K and Co.

Paper—Daisy D's PP, Cored'nations-red, Papertrey Ink-kraft

It's Tuesday, you know what that means...
... The Cuttlebug Spot Design Team day!
Making these just proves that Thanksgiving is just around the corner.
And then that also means that Christmas is just around the next corner.
I found online how to make these super cute triangle boxes.
All it is, is a 6" x 3" piece of paper, folded in have. The next thing you do is mark the center of each end then score a line from the center of the end to each side of the center fold. Whalla! now you have a triangle box. You can see more of what I mean in the second picture.

Big Whopping Wedding day!
Very unlike me I entered a radio contest that offered a vow renewal or wedding. There were over 200 entries and there were 50 couples that were chosen. I ended up being one of the 50!
So tomorrow we get to have our vows renewed. And the entire staff of the radio station are our wedding party! How crazy!
Jon was a little apprehensive, but I just kept saying that it will be fun! I had a dress that I bought a few years back and have just not found a place to wear it. Jon needed to get a jacket. We could also bring 2 guests, so I asked my best friend and her husband. Hee hee she has to wear a dress again. Melissa is NOT a dress person. The only times she has ever worn a dress was for being a bridesmaid in various weddings and for her own wedding.
Here is a link to the event.
And here you can see our photo and the list of the other winners.
I will be posting photos as soon as we get home.
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

Cuttlebug Spot Tuesday
Thanks for checking back with us. We are now going to post on Tuesdays. I hope you had a wonderful Halloween! I did. All those little kiddies in their costumes were so cute. We had about 16 kids stop by our house. Jon and I had my parents over for dinner and candy handing out. They don't get any kids at their house, and I know they like to see what the kids are wearing.
For this Thanksgiving invitation, I thought I'd do a easel card.
This die really lends itself to and easel card.
Isn't that Emily's Bouquet just beautiful. I don't use it enough. You could use this design for almost any invitation. I places a turkey in the pocket but, imagine placing a die-cut flower in the pocket or a baby rattle. It can be for any occasion.
