The End.

It is the very last posting for The Cuttlebug Spot.

Cry :(

Nilda did say that it will come back. It just needs a little time off.

Our final challenge is to make a card that includes felt. I went looking for felt items at the LSS and BOY! there are a lot to choose from! Flowers, shapes, alphabets and more!

I settled on a couple of flowers that I got from a friend (thanks Erica!)

Recipe
Folder— folders edge embossing
Paper—Solid Papertrey Ink, PP Paper Salon

I forgot to tell you the news yesterday...

You are new looking at the newest recruit to the
A•Muse | Studio Family!

I am so excited to offer these wonderful products to my readers.

I have not received my sales kit yet, but when I do... oh boy, watch out world.
I really like the products and they are different.

I wanted to sell stamps for a while, but SU is all over the place. When I signed up I was consultant 1,147. So when you have these stamps, not a lot of other will.

Please take a look at the catalog and if you are in the cities I'd be happy to help you host a party. You can also feel free to order anything you see right through me.

Happy Day!

I love buttons!

Lucky for me the challenge to day is all about buttons!

The Cuttlebug Spot wants you to create a card with buttons.
Do you have a button obsession like me? I have jars and jars full of all sorts of colors. My favorite is pink. When I found this pink heart, I just knew what I was going to do.

I put super sticky red tape over the whole background. I first added the pink heart when I knew I wanted it. then I covered the rest of the card with white buttons of all kinds and textures.
I found there was super sticky tape still showing between the buttons so I has to figure out what I was going to do with that. I ended up putting glitter in between the buttons... it added a wonderful sparkle!

To finish it off I ran the ribbon through the Cuttlebug in a fleur folder. I had no idea if this was going to work. So why not try it, right? It did work, AWESOME! then I added a sentiment... all DONE!

What do you think?

Recipe
Folder— Fleur by Cuttlebug
Stamps—Sentiment PTI
Paper—Solid SU

Oh on a sad note, the Cuttlebug Spot will take a break for a while. The Administrator for the blog is going to update the look and make a couple changes. The March challenge will be the last for a few months.

New Stamps!

The stamp sale went well! I sold over half of my stamps that I was selling. I will find out on Thursday how much I sold. A girlfriend and I worked the sale. It was really fun. We also got to buy stamps before the rest of the public. A benefit for working.

Here is what I bought (all for $56.00).

As in past years I need help trying to figure out some of the makers. I have all of the wood mounted ones figured out. I need help with the 5 that are on the CD cases.

Here they are:

Click on images to make larger if you need it.

Please help! I will send you a small gift if you can help me out finding who makes these stamps.

Thanks for all your help.

OUCH PINS!!!

The challenge for the Cuttlebug Spot Design Team this week was to work hat pins into your card. I love working pins into my cards whenever I can.

Lucky for me I just got new rubber in the mail from Prickley Pear and I got this really pretty doily. Man, doily's are so hot right now. I see them everywhere.

As you can see I used mine as a flower. I think it really worked well.
I stamped it in Versamark on pink paper, embossed in clear and then used concord grape distress ink over the embossing.

Do those leaves look familiar? They are the butterfly punch from Stampin' Up.

Recipe
Dies— Scallop Circle nestibles
Stamps—Doily Prickley Pear, Sentiment PTI
Paper—Solid SU and PP French Paper
Ink—Versa Magic and Distress ink
Punches— Martha Stewart grass, SU scallop border and SU butterfly
Other—Foam tape, Mark Richards pearls, Pearl pins and clear embossing powder
