Happy Cuttlebug Tuesday!

Challenge if you choose to accept it:

Create a children's card with an animal on it.

I am so glad I bought this elephant from SU.
It is totally not my style but I fell in love.

I did a special technique.
I am going to call it "color over glitter".
I used a special sticker paper that is made for glitter.
I sprinkled the glitter over the whole piece and used my finder to "buff" it into the adhesive. I then stamped the elephant on the glitter. Let it dry for a minute and then went at it with Copics. Yes, I colored over the glitter with the Copics. The glitter does not come off onto the markers.

Isn't that cool?!?!

Recipe:
Solid Paper: Papertrey Ink
Pattern Paper: Sassafrass
Ink: Distress Ink-red, Momento-black
Die Cuts: Spellbinders
Stamps: Stampin' up
Other: ribbon (SU), Gems (richards), sewing, Copics and glitter

We'd love for you to play along at The Cuttlebug Spot.

Cosmo Crickets Make A Difference Challenge Entry

Happy Thursday! That means tomorrow is Friday! WoooHooo.
Then Saturday is my Birthday! Jon and I are going to go to a couple Estate sales. That is our new Saturday thing. Since they are few and far between here in MN, we need to take all advantages.
Then we are going up to St. Cloud to see our best friends and get new smart phones. Right now we have what we call dumb phones, there is nothing smart about them.

Here is my card: It also works for this weeks Cuttlebug Spot Challenge (sewing).

Recipe:
Solid Paper: Papertrey Ink
Pattern Paper: Cosmo Cricket (Mr. Campy-plaid and Circa 1934)
Ink: Staz-on and Versa Color pinecone

Die Cuts: Spellbinders and SU large doily
Stamps: AMuse and October Afternoon
Other: ribbon (fancy pants), pearls (Amuse), edge punch, pins, sewing and embossing powder

Copic storage and some new fun finds.

I use an old industrial utensil holder from a dishwasher. I found it at one of the thrift stores I shop. Don't remember which one. It works perfectly. It is divided into 8 sections and has handles. But, as you see it is getting pretty full. I might have to change storage pretty soon.

Here is another one I found online that would work well too.
I also got my order from Product Performers and A Muse in the mail on Friday.

New stamp sets from A Muse.

Fun paper pads, ribbon and tape.

Washi tape from Cosmo Cricket
