Here's what it will look like:
Isn't she beautiful.
I stamped the image on Shrinky Dink material with Staz On. I needed a lot of them so I stamped a lot, and cut them all out.
Now to the shrinking:
Using my Embossing gun (which worked a lot faster and really well as compared to using the oven). I held the stamped Shrinky Dink with a paper piercer (because it really curls and can get out-of-hand). As it shrinks I made sure to keep it flat. Also do this on a piece of chipboard then the Shrinky Dink does not stick to anything.
I added some "blush" to her cheeks with chalk.
For the card:
I used a old cardstock flash card and ran it through my Zyron to get it sticky on one side. I stuck it to a old clothing pattern. I did this to the other side as well. So both sides have vintage dress patterns on them.
On one edge of the pattern I stamped this old looking stamp (this will be seen under the girl I am going to add).
I made a paper edge to go with the whole card. (you'll see how it is used later)
It needed some depth, so I distressed the edges.
I printed a girl for my card using my computer and transparency paper.
Gluing it all together.
More assembly.
Added the paper decoration.
Added some vintage lace.
And here she is:
