Mojo Monday #94 Dress, giggle card

So here's my take on the layout. Simple.

I really wanted to get this one right. I re-did it 3 times. At first I had a totally different theme, it more of a boy card. But after I got done with it I told myself I could do better... so scrap that one. The next one was pretty much the same layout as this one, but I chose different colors, more subtle, not as girly... so scrap that one. Try number 3. I finally found this super cure fabric (I have a bunch of charm packs (quilting 6x6 squares)) that I've collected over time. So, that lead to the color combo I ended up using. The dress is a pattern I made out of a piece of chipboard, covered it with fabric and then added the extra pleated fabric on the front to give the dress some fullness. I hid the edges of the fabric under the bow.

  6. wow, I never would have thought of using fabric on a card that way - so pretty. But you could make a really pretty wedding dress for a shower, etc.
