Hoppy Day!

Prickly Pear Tree Frog card!

I did something I've never done before
with this card. I painted with embossing powder.

Using an embossing pen I added it to specific
places on the frog. And then using a paintbrush, I picked up
some of the powder and added to the frog.
(see it below in the close-up of the frog)

Cut yellow paper to card size. Add green blocks paper to yellow, cut slightly smaller. With another sheet of yellow, cut slightly smaller than green blacks, sew three strips of polka dot paper with zig-zag stitch to yellow paper. Add ribbon around the polka dot yellow piece. Attach to green blocks with pop dots. Stamp frog on yellow paper emboss with clear embossing power. Rub distress ink over frog onto the background. Frog will all of a sudden pop-out. Die-cut the frog piece and another with nestabilities. Add the flower folded in half behind the frog panel. With a embossing pen add a little to the edges of the frog emboss it using the carnival powder. Add depth with Copics. Spray whole thing with copper spritz. Stamp Hoppy Day onto grosgrain ribbon. Attach with glue dot and pin. To finish add green crystals here and there and some scrappers floss.
