2011 Minneapolis, MN SU Convention

SU Convention.

I survived without being talked into becoming a demonstrator. I attended as a guest to my demonstrator, Erica. It was a lot of fun. We got to the convention center about 8:30 and sat in a waiting area ate a breakfast sandwich from Dunn brothers. We sat at a table with Ramona from Aberdeen, South Dakota. She came all the way by herself. She will be leaving with a couple new friends. We did a little card trading until it opened. Once the doors opened trying to find a place to sit was a challenge we made our way to the front and we finally found a table with 3 ladies already sitting there, we asked if we could join them, they said yes.

We put our items down and headed to the middle of the room to do a little more trading. It was so much fun to see what other made. I got A LOT of inspiration from all the creative gals.

The convention center full!

Here is Erica, Ramona and me.

Shelly's latest creation.

Here is my card that I created for trading.
I made about 80 of them and came home with about 8.
I also made a 3-D project to trade, I forgot to take a photo of it.

  1. Very sweet Valentine card that you swapped.
I bet you learned A LOT! Can't wait to see the results.

  2. Hi Jennifer - Just wanted to let you know that your swap was my favorite one from Regionals - so glad I got one!

  3. Tricia- Thanks a lot. That means the world to me. And since I am not a demonstrator, I had no idea what I was about to embark on.

  4. Garage sale gal. I did learn a lot. I mostly learned that I do not want to become a demonstrator. I like the craft of it too much. And I will be trying some of the tricks soon, and will post.

Thank you for leaving a comment, I look forward to reading it.
