So this week it is a layout challenge.
I love layout challenges, because then I have one less thing to worry about when designing my card.

Isn't she cute?
This one was fun, I knew I wanted to do a "get well" "wish" card, because I have a girl friend who has gall bladder surgery on Friday. And I know she'll need a pick-me-up. I started this card by stamping the background flowers with Versamark and then going over them with chalks. I just swirled the chalks over the image and they magically appear. I like the soft look they have. Then I stamped the girl on Neenah paper and colored her with Copics. I trimmed her out and placed her over the flowers using pop-dots. I then cut that whole piece out using a scallop Nestability. I cut another scallop out slightly larger and punched holes in each of the scallops and edged it with white ink. I found some pretty purple paper (PTI) and layered it with purple ribbon (May Arts). I added a sentiment from PTI on a "tag" to the left of the scallop. To finish it all off I added 3 pearls that I colored purple with my Copics, to the bottom right corner.
Recipe:
Stamps: The Angel Company (girl and flowers), Papertrey Ink {PTI}(Sentiment)
Paper: Solid (Core d'nations), Patterned (PTI)
Ink: Memories, Versamark, PTI (fresh snow)
Other: Copics, EK Success (1/16" hole punch)(chalks)(tag punch), Hero Arts (Pearls)
