July ATC... it's a "stand-out"!

So I found this great tutorial on Split Coast Stampers and altered it for my ATC. The theme for July was Red, White and Blue. With a theme like that, how could you not do 4th of July!

The steps are on the tutorial, but this is what I did:

OK the parts are—the "sleeve" is 2.5"w x 7"h, the "card" part with the ribbon is 2"w x 3.5"h. I also cut out a 1.5" circle and a 2" star.

You need to score the "sleeve" at .25", 1.75", 2", 3.5", 5", 5.25", 6.75 on whatever side you want to be the inside (negative side).

You need to use the super sticky tape on both ends of the positive side of the "sleeve"

On the negative side of the "sleeve" you need to make a slit .25" from edges on the 3.5" score. This is a little tricky, you need the slit to be wide enough to let any embellishments slide through it, but tight enough that the card will stand up (I cut mine about 1/16" wide)

This is the card that slides, this is where I used the round circle folded in half over the edge

You need to crease all of the score lines of the "sleeve". See that top picture... you can see the slit that was cut in the previous step

And now insert the card into the slot of the "sleeve"

Attach the card to the tape, lining up the bottom edges, and centering the card

Do the same with the other side

Look! It pops up!

If you want this "pop-up" you need to glue it to that small .25" piece at the front

All folded flat total size is 2.5" x 3.5"

And "popped open"
